Ballet is one of the world’s most beautiful art forms. It takes not only talent, but dedication, drive, and an amazing amount of work to create the seemingly effortless movements that professional dancers perform daily.

Every October the entire world celebrates the beauty of ballet on World Ballet Day. The best part is the all-day live stream from ballet companies around the world. It gives viewers a glimpse into the day to day happenings at a professional ballet company and what makes these companies some of the top companies in the world. It gives lots of people an opportunity to see professional ballet performances that they otherwise might not be able to see.

Erin is the Public Relations Coordinator for Dance Connection. She studied dance from childhood through college and continues to be an active member of the Long Island theatre community. Erin received a BA in both Musical Theatre Performance and History from the University of Tampa, and has utilized aspects of both degrees working in the hospitality industry, as an Event Coordinator for the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington, and as the PR/Marketing Coordinator and Group Sales Coordinator for the CM Performing Arts Center in Oakdale.
