Lyrical classes are available for dancers ages 9 and up, with 3 prior years experience in ballet. This ensures dancers have the foundational strength and technique needed for lyrical movement.

Yes, lyrical classes at Dance Connection are best suited for dancers with a background in ballet. This allows students to safely and confidently perform the dynamic, controlled movement required in lyrical choreography.

Yes! Lyrical dancers have the exciting option to participate in our annual June recital. It’s a fun and confidence-building experience, but completely optional. Costumes are ordered in December, and recital tickets go on sale in May. Whether or not your child performs, they’ll still enjoy a full season of joyful movement and learning.
