Dance Connection performed in the Islip Holiday Parade on December 7th to help bring in the holiday cheer to the Islip community along with the Islip Chamber of Commerce!  Dance Connection’s contribution to the parade included a performance by over 40 Dance Connection dancers behind an 18 foot long float with scenery, lights, and snow.  Of course, no dance float would be complete without a rockin’ sound system for our dancers to march and dance along to.  

At the end of the parade, it was announced by the Chamber of Commerce that Dance Connection won the contest for best float!  The float was designed in-house by Dance Connection and built by Eric Saccoccio, Julio Diaz, Jenny Diaz, Mary Naftal, and Lou Cassara. A very special thank you to Intense Kustom Audio in Brentwood for allowing us to use their shop to build the float.

Thank you the Islip Chamber of Commerce for organizing the parade and to everyone who came out to spread holiday cheer through the Islip community.  Dance Connection can’t wait for next year’s parade!
