Today we are featuring Miss Brooke-Ashley in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

• What is your favorite thing about teaching dance? My favorite part about teaching dance is the bonds you make with your students.  I love inspiring kids and knowing that I’m making a mark on their lives, just as my dance teachers did for me. 

• What’s the most daring thing you’ve done? The most daring thing I have ever done is ride the Valravn roller coaster at Cedar Point Amusement park in Ohio.  It is the fastest, tallest, longest dive roller coaster in the world. 

• What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory was when I swam with the dolphins in Tortola.

•  What is your favorite hobby? Currently, my favorite hobby is wedding planning! I like to search Pinterest for unique ideas and “do it yourself” projects! 

• Who was your favorite dance teacher when you were a child, and why?  I can’t possibly answer this! I have been with the studio since I’m 2 years old. I have had many amazing dance teachers in my lifetime.  Each one leaves a lasting impression on me. Something that I will cherish forever. 

• What song would you sing at Karaoke?  Ice ice baby!
