Today we are featuring Miss Julie in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

• What is your favorite thing about teaching dance?  I love to see the progress of each child and how far they have come from the beginning of the year. I also love the smiles, laughter and fun dance brings to them.

• What’s the most daring thing you’ve done?  Since I do not like heights, I would have to say parasailing. Although it was scary, it was so much fun and I am happy I did it.

• What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite memory was always singing in the car with my grandpa.

•  What is your favorite hobby?  Other than dance? I love baking and crafting decorations/parties for my kids.

• Who was your favorite dance teacher when you were a child, and why? All of them – I learned so much from all of my teachers it’s hard to pick a favorite. 

• What song would you sing at Karaoke? Anything from the 80s-90s genre.
