Emily Civitella and Thomas Henderson crowned at Dancer’s Inc. Nationals this summer

ISLIP, NY, AUGUST 6, 2018 – Emily Civitella and Thomas Henderson, two members of the Dance Connection Competition Team competed at the Dancer’s Inc. Nationals Competition in New Jersey this past July. Thomas was crowned Mr. Teen Dancer’s Inc. and Emily was crowned Dancer of the year.

As part of the Dancer’s Inc Royal Court, Emily and Thomas will be working at 5 regional events assisting Master Teachers at the conventions and at awards ceremonies and with general competition needs. They will also be representing Dancer’s Inc. by performing at a Dancers Responding to Aids fundraiser and will be flying out to Los Angeles in February for an all expenses paid educational trip where they will be taking classes, visit Universal Studios, and tour The Studio School.

The Dance Connection Competition Team finished their performance year with 2 National Titles, 7 Regional Titles, 20 First-Place Overall Trophies, 44 2nd -10th Place Trophies, 6 Convention Scholarships, 21 Special Judge’s Awards, and capped it all off with a performance on board Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas this July.
