Recital may be over 4 months away, but we are already well on our way to being set for the show! Costumes and songs have been selected, scenery and props are being chosen, and we have our Recital Companies in the studio.

This year we have two separate companies working on performances for the opening of each act of our recital. Our Petites will be performing a medley from the Broadway Musical Matilda, and they are ready to take on their very own Mrs. Truchbull and be “Revolting Children”. Their first rehearsal is a day to get to know their cast-mates and begin the hard work they will be putting into kicking off the second act for their family and friends.

Our Junior and Senior Companies will be performing to a medley of 80’s rock songs from the Broadway hit Rock of Ages. They came into rehearsal ready to tackle challenging choreography and have fun with the high-energy throwback anthems that is sure to start our recital on a high note.

Over the next few months you’ll be able to catch photos or videos that will give you a glimpse of the commitment, dedication, and heart these amazing dancers put into their performance, and some of the fun they have along the way.
