Chris Harbison

Christine Harbison is an English Language Arts teacher at Deer Park High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Hofstra University and a Master’s Degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Queen’s College. Christine has been a part of the Dance Connection family since 2010 when her oldest daughter, Hanna began dance lessons for recreation at the studio. Her younger daughter, Mia currently dances for the Performance Company and is part of the Christmas Show, Recital Company, and the Competition team. Mia also loves being a part of the Teaching Training Program, where she gets to share her love of dance with younger students. In recent years, Christine has become actively involved with the Dance Fundraising Committee, who supports the Performance Company by raising funds and setting up fun team building activities and events for the students. She is excited to take on this new role to help support the dancers and the studio.
