FAQs

How many competitions/performance opportunities?
Each season we attend 2-3 regional competitions, a national competition and/or performance, and several other performance events.  Our team also performs each July at a Long Island Ducks Game and partners with local organizations (like the Make-A-Wish Foundation) to perform for events that enrich our community. We are constantly searching for exciting competition and performance opportunities that give our dancers unique enhancing experiences.

What’s The Cost?
$80/month (mini-comp $37.50/month) is the monthly rehearsal fee.  In addition to this fee, there are expenses for costumes, shoes, makeup, team jacket, entry fees, administrative fees, and travel costs.  There are many fundraising opportunities to offset some/most of these costs.

How often do they rehearse?
On average ~ one 4-6 hour long rehearsal per weekend (mini-comp one 1.5-2 hour rehearsal).  At times, a longer rehearsal or more than one rehearsal per weekend may be necessary.  Additional rehearsals do not affect your monthly fee, it will always stay $80/month (mini-comp $37.50/month) regardless of how many rehearsals are held.
