Dance TeacherAubrey has been apart of our Dance Connection family since she was just two years old. She was a highly involved student spending 8 of her 15 years here on the award winning competition team, the recital company and as a teacher on our training program. During her training at Dance Connection, Aubrey was selected to attend the Rockette Summer Intensive twice and was chosen to me apart of the Rockette Series television show on MSG Varsity. After high school Aubrey drifted away from dancing to only rediscover her passion in 2013, when she transferred to Hofstra University to study Dance Performance. At Hofstra, Aubrey got to work with award winning choreographers such as Earl Mosley and Karla Wolfangle. She was also highly involved in the Imani Dance Ensemble, HU Danceworks, Movom and Teaching Dance as Art where she expanded her skillset in making choreography, performing and teaching. She also was hand-selected to go to the 2015 National Dance Education Organization conference in Chicago, IL. Since graduating, Aubrey is excited to be back at Dance Connection and to share all she has learned with her students.
