Today we are featuring Miss Erin G. in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

• What is your favorite thing about teaching dance? My favorite thing about teaching dance is getting to share all the things I’ve learned over the years with new dancers.

• What’s the most daring thing you’ve done? The most daring thing I’ve done is when I went indoor skydiving with the dc staff. I was very nervous at first but it was a great experience.

• What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory was getting to buy my first pointe shoes. I remember my cousin and I getting them together, we were so excited, it was a very special moment.

• What is your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby is going to concerts/live shows. I’m hoping to go see more in the new year.

• Who was your favorite dance teacher when you were a child, and why? When I was a child, I didn’t have a favorite dance teacher. I enjoyed learning from all of the DC teachers. They all helped me grow individually.

• What song would you sing at Karaoke? The song I would pick to sing at karaoke is Grace Kelly by MIKA. It’s my top favorite song, I sing along every time I listen to it.
