Getting to Know You: Miss Ginny!
Today we are featuring Miss Ginny in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”! The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.
What is your hometown? I grew up in Islip!
Why did you start working at Dance Connection? As a little girl I always loved to dance so it was such a joy for me to see both my girls share the love that I had. So, when the opportunity came up to be employed at Dance Connection and to be involved every aspect of my girls dancing it was a no brainer, I jumped at the opportunity.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about my family, especially my kids.
What is one thing you want to tell all of our students and/or parents? To the parents, enjoy every moment. The kids grow up so fast, you will miss changing their shoes, watching them practice their dances over & over & over again…and most of all the car rides back and forth every week.
In your opinion, what makes dance such a great activity and art form? Dance is a great activity because it keeps your body moving, no matter what style you choose ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, there is something for everyone.
Favorite Color? Green
Secret Talent? Can touch my nose with my tongue.
