Today we are featuring Mr. Joe in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

When not at the studio, Mr. Joe enjoys theatre, dance, and opera performances. He also likes to explore museums, see movies with friends and he loves to travel. When it comes to dance, he enjoys watching all styles but his personal favorites are classical ballet and pieces with innovative choreography and interesting uses of lines and space. Mr. Joe really enjoys working at the studio  because he thinks “…an arts education is extremely important, especially today, and I’m happy to be a part of making that happen for so many students.” A true night owl, if Mr. Joe could have one superpower he would love to be able to fly or teleport so that he could get to any destination without a long commute!

Additional fun fact:  Mr. Joe’s favorite restaurant is “The Cafeteria” in Chelsea, NYC. He’ll usually have the “Mac Attack” (He calls it The best Mac & Cheese sampler in the world!) and the Chicken & Waffles.
