In Step With DC
4 Ways to Show Us Your DC Spirit!!
Written by Erin Sforza on January 15, 2019

Every year in January we add some fun and crazy into the winter by celebrating how proud we are to be Dance Connection Dancers. It’s no secret that the teachers and staff are super proud of what we do here, and that we are so happy that you’ve chosen to be a part of our studio family, but during Spirit Week we give everyone the chance to really show their DC pride and even get friends and family involved in the fun too! Here are some tips to make sure that you are ready to show your Dance Connection Spirit:

  • Flaunt those Dance Connection Colors: Pink, Blue, Black, and Purple are the studio colors and we love to see them during Spirit Week! You can find all kinds of crazy accessories at the Dollar Store or party stores and you would be surprised at what you can put together just in your own closet! No matter what you choose, you can’t go wrong with those colors on. Crazy hair, face paint, huge fluffy tutus, hats, the crazier the better!
  • Don’t Forget the Contests: Every year we have contest where you can win prizes above and beyond the “Most Spirit” prize. Trivia, Instagram Scavenger Hunts, and Photo contests have happened before, so make sure that you follow us on our social media channels so you will get all of the info!
  • Make Sure to Post Those Selfies: Are you all decked out and ready for class? Make sure you post your DC Spirit selfies to social media and tag us. You can also use #dcspiritweek2019. We’ll be looking for some awesome pics to share, and they could be yours!
  • Get Those Facebook Likes: Once we have every class photo, we’ll open voting on Facebook to decide which class has the most DC Spirit so share, share, share! Don’t forget to let your friends and family know that they have to go to the picture directly and like it, it won’t count if they just like your post!

Good luck to everyone and we hope you have a fantastic Spirit Week!
