Today we are featuring Miss Ava in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

• Why do you love teaching dance?  I love teaching dance because I get to share my love of dance with my students, while helping them learn and grow.
• What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of? The accomplishment that I’m most proud of is completing a half marathon. I’ve done two so far, and I’m hoping to be able to run my first full marathon next year!
• Who is your hero and why? My hero is my mom (Miss Sharon). She’s been there for me in good times and bad, and I’m so thankful for our friendship!
• If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would have to be mac and cheese, with ice cream for dessert!
• What do you do in your spare time? I like to run or go for walks in my spare time. I also enjoy reading when I’m home.
• What’s your favorite vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World, because there’s a wide variety of things to experience there.
