Sending A Sweet Message to Your Stars
Written by Erin Sforza on June 2, 2019

If you are wondering what the board full of stars on strings is in our recital area, it happens to be a really great way for you to show your support to your dancer, or for your dancers to brighten the recital of their friends and classmates. Our stars can be made with or without a lollipop to make them extra sweet. Here’s how you fill them out:

First, select your dancer’s star from the board. There are a variety of colors to choose from.

Next, grab one of the Sharpie markers in the basket below to write your message on the front of your star. You can write anything you’d like that you think would brighten your dancer’s day and encourage or congratulate them on a job well done.

On the back of the star you’ll want to list your dancer’s name, recital song title, and the date and time of their recital performance.

Once your star is all set, just bring them to the reception desk and we’ll get them filed and ready to go in your dancer’s recital goodie bag. Regular stars are $1 each and Sweet Stars (with the lollipop) are $3 each.

You can also grab a few stars, pay for them and take them home to decorate. Just remember that they need to be returned by dress rehearsal so that we can make sure they are in your dancer’s gift bag. We will have stars available that week as well, just in case you need to do one last minute! The sky is the limit for decorating your stars. You can cover them with stickers, bling or anything you think will make your dancer smile.

Have fun getting creative and please feel free to stop by the reception desk with any questions that you may have!
