Getting to Know You: Miss Susanne!
Written by Joe Naftal on March 29, 2019

Today we are featuring Miss Susanne in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

What is your hometown? North Bellmore

Why did you start working at Dance Connection? I started working at Dance Connection because my daughters had been dancing at the studio for eleven years when I started as a receptionist. I thought it would be a good fit since we were all so connected to the studio already.

What are you passionate about outside work? I am passionate about my family.

What is one thing you want to tell our students and/or parents?  I would tell the students to enjoy the opportunity to dance and tell the parents to enjoy the opportunity to watch your child dance. When they are little it is so cute to see them in their classes and up on stage for the first time and then as they get older you get to see them grow as a dancer and you will get to see them turn into beautiful dancers. It can be an amazing experience.

In your opinion, what makes dance such a great activity and art form?  Dance is a great activity because it fun and safe and teaches them so much more then just dance steps.

College and Major?  I graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC with a degree in fashion buying and merchandising.

Favorite Color?  My favorite color is pink.

Secret Talent?  I don’t think I have any secret talents, lol.
