Today we are featuring Miss Jenny in our latest edition of “Getting to Know You”!  The “Getting to Know You” series helps us get to know each of the Dance Connection teachers and staff we get to see at the studio every week and learn a little bit more about them.

Why do you love working at Dance Connection? I love working at Dance Connection because I love watching the excitement from all the littles ones when they come in for class, also I get to work with some pretty cool people.

What is an accomplishment you’re most proud of? I have accomplished many things in my life but the one that I am most proud of is raising Girls who are respectful and kind.  There is no better feeling than hearing a compliment from someone about the way they carry themselves or how they treat others especially when they are together.

Who is your hero and why? My parents are my heroes simply because of the type of people they are.  They never gave up through all the challenges they faced especially when coming to this country and not knowing the language or having anyone to turn to all for the future of their family

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? If I could only eat 1 meal it would be Sancocho (a type of soup) with white rice. Can’t forget the hot sauce

What do you do in your spare time? In my spare time, I’m usually hanging out with my family or baking/cooking.

What’s your favorite vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot is anywhere that has white sand and blue ocean water.
