What?  Dance Connection will once again be celebrating the holiday season in the Islip Chamber of Commerce’s Main Street holiday parade with our dancers and the Dance Connection float.  This year, we’ll be opening up the event for more dancers from the studio community to join us!

Who?  Any Dance Connection student age 7 and up.  Space is very limited on a first come, first serve basis.

When?  Saturday, December 1.  Dancers will meet at the studio at 3:30PM and be transported over to the parade staging site by Dance Connection staff or their parent.  Parade kicks off at 5:00PM.

Cost?  The cost to participate is $25.  This cost includes a festive Dance Connection t-shirt to be worn as you walk in the parade.

Additional Requirements?  Dancers participating in the parade must be able to stand for extended periods of time, wait patiently at times, walk in the parade without assistance of adults, go without a bathroom break from the time of leaving the studio until the parade is over, follow instructions of the Dance Connection staff, and be a good role model and representative of the studio!   Participants in Dance Connection’s float unit cannot be a part of any other parade unit for the Islip Parade.  For example, if you are marching with Dance Connection, you wouldn’t be able to march with your Girl Scout troop if they are also in the parade.
